Larry
Dawson was born and raised in Scott Depot, West Virginia. He is the
son of Pat and Madge Dawson, who were self-employed owning a small
appliance store. He remains a resident of Putnam County, West
Virginia.
He graduated from Winfield High School in 1976 and then attended
Marshall University.
Growing up, he had two dreams - cars and business. After working for
a few local car dealerships in sales and management, he purchased a
former Exxon station in Nitro, West Virginia and opened Larry
Dawson's Auto Sales in January 1987 and fulfilled his dreams.
Today, Larry Dawson's Auto Sales is not only selling automobiles
locally, but also nationally through EBay and the Internet.
Larry is a member of numerous organizations; including the Nitro
Lodge 170 AF&AM, Scottish Rite, Beni Kedem, Nitro Moose Lodge,
Sleepy Hollow Golf Club, YMCA, Kanawha River Navy, National
Independent Automobile Dealers Association and St. Timothy Lutheran
Church. Larry is also a member of the Putnam County Chamber of
Commerce.
His hobbies are boating, racquetball and golf. |
